Richard Yu Announces Huawei HarmonyOS NEXT Officially Opens Developer Beta Test, to Be Commercially Deployed in Q4

At today’s HDC Huawei Developer Conference, Richard Yu(Chengdong) announced that the Pure-bred HarmonyOS has officially opened the developer Beta test. The HarmonyOS ecosystem has achieved milestone progress and will be commercially deployed in the fourth quarter.

He announced the official release of the HarmonyOS NEXT all-scenario intelligent operating system, which realizes a single system, unified ecosystem, and connects multiple devices and scenarios. It originates from China and is independently controllable. He revealed that HarmonyOS NEXT can achieve a 30% increase in overall device performance and a 20% reduction in power consumption.

Currently, the Huawei HarmonyOS NEXT Beta version has started recruiting for developers and pioneering users (limited to 3000 participants). The number of spots is limited.
