Huawei MatePad 11.5″S 12GB Soft Light Edition Equipped with Kirin 9000WE Processor

Huawei unveiled the MatePad 11.5″S tablet on May 15th, available in Soft Light and Dynamic versions, with starting prices of 2499 yuan (8+256GB) and 1899 yuan (8+128GB), respectively.

New Kirin 9000WE Detected on 12GB Model

The 8GB version of the MatePad 11.5″S went on sale in May. Users discovered that the 8GB Soft Light edition features an 8-core 12-thread Kirin 9000WL chip, while the 8GB Dynamic edition comes with a 6-core 9-thread Kirin 9000WM chip.

The 12GB version of the MatePad 11.5″S went on sale this week. According to feedback from users who received their devices, the 12GB Soft Light edition of the MatePad 11.5″S is equipped with a new processor called the Kirin 9000WE.

Software identification information shows that the Kirin 9000WE CPU has 8 cores and 12 threads, with a frequency of 2×2487MHz + 6×2150MHz + 4×1530MHz, identical to the Kirin 9000WL and Kirin 9000S1.

The GPU of the Kirin 9000WE is the Mali-G78, with a maximum frequency of 750MHz, the same as the Kirin 9000WL. Currently, it is unclear what differences exist between these two processors.

The Huawei MatePad 11.5″S tablet features a metal body, measuring 6.2mm thick and weighing 510g. It sports an 11.5-inch screen with a 2.8K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The device is powered by an 8800mAh battery and comes pre-installed with the HarmonyOS 4.2 operating system.
