Huawei Launches New Commercial Tablets ,Featuring NearLink Technology

On July 10th, Huawei Qingyun introduced the Huawei Qingyun C7 (2nd Generation) for government, finance, and large enterprises, and the Huawei Qingyun C5e (2nd Generation) for the education sector. These are the first commercial tablets from Huawei to support Nearlink technology.

In terms of productivity, the Huawei Qingyun C7 utilizes Huawei’s PC Application Engine technology to deliver native PC application experiences, including PC-level WPS Office, PC-level CAJViewer, and PC-level EdrawMax. Taking the commonly used office software WPS Office for government and enterprise users as an example, the PC-level WPS Office replicates the desktop-level native UI, with interface layout and operation logic largely consistent with the PC version, and supports file synchronization in the cloud with virtually no migration costs.

Addressing the high frequency of literature review needs among government and enterprise users, the Huawei Qingyun C7 offers PC-level CAJViewer, allowing CAJ papers and documents to be read on the tablet without format conversion, and supports features such as highlighting, underlining, marker, and eraser that provide the same experience as on a PC.

In terms of configuration, the Huawei Qingyun C7 supports Starlink technology for connectivity, paired with the HUAWEI M-Pencil (3rd Generation) and a smart magnetic keyboard that supports Nearlink wireless communication technology, providing smooth handwriting signatures, annotation, and mobile office text entry experiences. Based on the HarmonyOS system, the Huawei Qingyun C7 also supports features like one-pull-to-connect, multi-screen collaboration, super transfer station, and free multi-window.

In terms of screen, the Huawei Qingyun C7 features an 11.5-inch 87% screen-to-body ratio eye-protective screen, with a 3:2 productivity golden screen ratio, supporting a maximum refresh rate of 144Hz, a high-definition resolution of 2800×1840, a high pixel density of 291 PPI, a high contrast ratio of 1500:1, a high brightness of 500 nits, and a professional P3 cinematic color gamut, supporting HDR Vivid; it also provides low blue light and flicker-free eye protection technologies.

For the education sector, the Huawei Qingyun C5e features an 11-inch FHD+ eye-protective full screen, adopting a hardware low blue light solution and various eye-protective technologies such as DC dimming, dark mode, and ebook mode, achieving a balance between learning and eye protection. Addressing the high equipment wear and tear and accident damage probability in the education industry, the Huawei Qingyun C5e has also optimized the accidental deformation and drop scenarios, enhancing product reliability and durability.

Both the Huawei Qingyun C7 and Huawei Qingyun C5e are now available on the official website, and users can visit the website for more information.
